Welcome to Twisted Generation, a brand born out of struggle, resilience, and a burning passion to rise from the darkness.
My name is James & i thought you might want to know a little bit more about who's behind the Twisted Generation brand & why i started it.
I previously spent 25 years as a sound engineer in the TV & Film industry in London. It was my dream career.
Near the end of 2019 one of my oldest & closest friends suddenly passed away from cancer. He was the same age as me & also the director of the company we worked for. Also someone i had worked alongside for over 20 years.
3 months after his death i was shocked to learn i had been made redundant from the job i loved!
I felt like i was still getting over my friends death & now i had this to deal with as well. So I know what’s it's like to suddenly find yourself in a
dark place & not know what to do next!
It was at that point i said to myself:
"I'm never going to work for another company again, now it's time to work on my own dreams"
Fuelled by my love for tattoo culture and the transformative power of fitness & bodybuilding, i envisioned a clothing line that would not just
offer high-quality streetwear but also act as an emblem of resilience. My mission was to create a brand that could inspire and empower individuals to transform their adversities into opportunities, just as i had done.
After a solid year of planning, learning & testing i launched Twisted Generation in Feb 2022. The brand surprised a lot of people as no one knew it
was coming & the momentum had started!
I was soon joined by my partner Mia, who brought a wealth of creativity
& spark to the brand. Together, we have been an unstoppable force, constantly pushing boundaries and evolving the brand. Whether it's designing new collections, directing photoshoots or liaising with models, Mia's dedication and eye for detail has played an instrumental role in shaping the
unique identity of Twisted Generation.
Twisted Generation goes beyond being just a clothing label:
- Every piece is handmade & cut to our own unique size chart. The style, cut, fit & fabric is 100% unique to Twisted Generation.
- We do not just print logos on blank t-shirts.
- We're a symbol of drive and self-assurance, stepping out and smashing goals.
We've taken over social media, where our customers and followers can connect, share their stories, and feel a part of something bigger. We believe
in creating an inclusive environment where everyone can feel heard and appreciated.
